After many days of bad weather in Belgium, the sun has finally showed up! The sun is quite precious in Belgium, that’s why we took our sunglasses and went outside to look for you the best places to hang out on Friday night.
Let’s start with a good place to chill. We discovered an convivial open air market at Place des Chasseurs Ardennais in Schaerbeek. There you can find many kinds of tasty foods/drinks such as cheese, vegetables, fruits, sweets, beers, wines etc. (Sorry guys, we didn’t took any pictures of this beautiful place because we were craving for food :p). There, We bought homemade lemonades and a mix of finger food.
Our verdict? It was DELICIOUS ! Because you can’t decline a dessert, we bought a “Tarte au riz” also called “Dorêye” ; it’s a pie made of rice and it’s a speciality of Liège (again we didn’t took any pictures, we ate it before we remembered to take one picture)
After that, we went for a walk at the Cinquantenaire park which is recognizable with its 3 arches. The Cinquantenaire park, founded in 1880, welcomes many events like concerts, cultural events, manifestations and sportive events. There, you can visit museums such as the Royal Army Museum and Military History, The Museum of Art and History, AutoWorld or the “Pavillon des Passions Humaines”. We highly recommend you to can go on the top of the arch to enjoy the impressive panoramic view of Brussels. Moreover,on Friday night, a lot of people go to the park to chill with family & friends and enjoy the beautiful sky of Brussels.
